Celebrating 25 years of Family Farming!
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is for those committed members who pay a membership fee for a weekly supply of seasonal produce from our farm. This helps cover our operation costs for seed, fertilizer, fuel, equipment, labor, greenhouse supplies, etc. We plan and work throughout the year to provide our members with an equal share of produce on a weekly basis. The share is available for pick up every week for 15 weeks during the growing season.
ADVANTAGES FOR SHARE MEMBERS:* Eat fresh, locally grown produce, full of flavor and vitamins * Exposure to new vegetables, try new recipes and canning options * Knowing your all-natural vegetables are grown by farmers who are conscious of their impact on the land * Find your children will typically favor food from "their" farm (even eating veggies they've never been a fan of or tried) * Develop a relationship with the farm family who can teach about gardening * Supporting you local farmer ensures that farming will continue in your community * Supporting Connecticut Audubon and the amazing work they do
